Timothy MelleyTimothy Melley is Associate Professor of English at Miami University and Director of the Miami University Humanities Center. He is the author of Empire of Conspiracy: The Culture of Paranoia in Postwar America (Cornell University Press, 2000) and is currently completing a book on the cultural influence of clandestine U.S. institutions from the Cold War to the war on terror.
